Need something to amuse the kids for a few hours, Honolulu Zoo is just 7 mins walk along Kuhio Ave. and is world renowned for it's rescues and care of some of the world's most majestic animals.
UBER, Lyft and taxis are all readily available plus Oahu offers an incredibly safe, clean & reliable bus service that can be used for everything from local trips to discovering The North Shore & even Dole Pineapple adventure park. The two bedroom condo (with separate entrances to the two bedrooms) comfortably sleeps six by offering one King Bed, one Full Size and one Queen Sleeper Sofa. It is a corner unit, large (over 1,000 square feet, including the lanai). It is on the quiet side of Waikiki very close to the Honolulu Aquarium and the Honolulu Zoo. You can swim, snorkel and surf at the best beaches in Waikiki ~ the famous Sans Souci Beach and the Kaimana Beach with calm waters protected by a reef. The hotel is across the street from the beautiful Queen Kapiolani Park. It is the largest (300 acres) and second oldest park in Hawaii.
The park has tennis courts, work-out bars, running paths, and many lovely shade trees. This well kept condo has everything you need for a wonderful stay, including a new 55" inch Samsung smart television. There is a full-size kitchen (dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator, stove/oven).

The kitchen is fully equipped, including a coffee maker, blender, rice cooker, toaster, dishes and cookware. Modern dishwasher, refrigerator, and microwave. Washers and dryers are conveniently available in the building with elevator access.

Our guests do not pay a resort fee. You don't need to rent a car! Exploring Waikiki from here without a car is convenient because it is easy to walk or take buses and taxis. There is a Russell’s convenience store selling a variety of supplies, food, and alcohol just a five-minute walk from the Diamond Head Beach Hotel (adjacent to the New Otani Hotel). The Speedi Shuttle (and other shuttle services) are easy to book online for transportation from and to the Honolulu Airport, plus UBER & Lyft ride sharing services are available.

There are excellent restaurants within a five-minute walk. Michel’s serving lunch and dinner is in the Colony Surf at 2895 Kalakaua. The famous Hau Tree Lanai is an open-air restaurant in the New Otani Hotel at 2863 Kalakaua and serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner.. The New Otani has two other nice restaurants ~ the Miyako Japanese Restaurant and the Sunset Lanai.

Further west on Kalakaua is Lulu Lulu’s at 2586 Kalakaua open from 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 a.m. Cheeseburger in Paradise is located at 2500 Kalakaua open from 7:00 a.m. to 12 a.m. Duke’s, famous for brunch, tropical beverages and live music, is located at 2335 Kalakaua and open from 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m. You will also find McDonald’s, Burger King and Subway in the same area. The ABC stores are excellent for gifts and snacks. If you enjoy shopping, you will like strolling along Kalakaua where there are many local and international shops selling clothing, jewelry, shoes, and souvenirs.

Kapiolani Park is situated across the street making walking, jogging, the Honolulu Zoo, Waikiki Aquarium, tennis courts, biking, and attending festivals convenient and at your discretion.

The beach located literally a half block away is much less crowded than most of Waikiki beaches, and provides a sandy bottom and closed area that’s perfect for swimming. And on the other side of the Waikiki pier, it is a perfect boogie boarding with nice waves.

Steps away you have access to the transit system which can take you to any place on the island for a very reasonable price. Other places close by to the Waikiki Grand Hotel include the Ala Wai Golf Course 3 blocks away, Starbucks and a ABC Convenience store on the corner, plus ‘Teddy’s Burgers’ in the lobby of the building

From our studio apartment on the 7th floor, you can see the pink flamingos of Honolulu Zoo, and hear the howling monkeys and early morning roar of the lions.

The studio is comfortably furnished with a dining table, 4 chairs, a queen size bed, a dresser and a sofa that opens into a twin bed. The unit also includes a 36” flat screen tv, coffee maker, microwave oven, full size refrigerator, and a two burner electric stove. There is also free wifi internet.

On the ground floor you will find Teddy’s Burgers, which features breakfast items as well as some of Honolullu’s best hamburgers and milk shakes. We also have a Starbucks a few doors away on Kalakaua Avenue where you can also stroll into the heart of Waikiki with its myriad cafes, restaurants and shops. One of our personal favorites, a block away, is Wolfgang Puck Express where you can grab a wonderful, wood-fired, pizza, a variety of salads, and excellent roast chicken at reasonable prices.

The bus service is excellent and we are at a hub where you can take buses to Ala Moana, downtown Honolulu, and even around the island. Our price INCLUDES all Hawaii accommodation taxes and cleaning fees. Contact us through Airbnb if you have any other questions. .
